wohnvoll AG cooperates with Goldbeck: Framework agreement for up to 3,000 age-appropriate apartments
Frankfurt am Main / Bielefeld, December 19, 2024
wohnvoll AG and Goldbeck have signed a framework agreement to realize around 3,000 age-appropriate and barrier-free apartments throughout Germany by 2030. Around 30 projects, each with 100 residential units, will be implemented using serial and resource-saving construction methods. The first pilot project will start in Bergkamen, North Rhine-Westphalia, in February 2025.
New standards for self-determined living in old age
The projects of wohnvoll AG, wohnvoll villages, offer senior citizens aged 65 and over modern living spaces with a focus on independence and quality of life. In addition to barrier-free one- to two-bedroom apartments (47-66 m²), wheelchair-accessible shared apartments are also available. The offer is complemented by services such as apartment cleaning, care support, digital assistance and community activities such as sports and cultural events. Restaurants and active kitchens are planned at selected locations.
Efficient, sustainable and social
Goldbeck relies on serial construction with prefabricated building elements that are efficiently assembled on site. All projects meet the Efficiency House 40 standard and have been awarded the QNG seal. Photovoltaic systems, green roofs and ecological outdoor facilities contribute to sustainability.
Statements on the partnership
“With Goldbeck, we have the ideal partner to create modern, age-appropriate living space throughout Germany. Together, we are shaping an attractive future for the 65-plus generation,” says Nikolaus Priesnitz, CEO of wohnvoll AG.
“We are using the superpower of serial construction to realize around 3,000 high-quality and future-oriented apartments for senior citizens in a short time: systematized at the core, individual architecture on the outside,” emphasizes Mario Kling, Managing Director of Goldbeck Nord GmbH.
